Job Description
The Position
We are excited to announce an opening for a Training Services Coordinator to join our Specialist Training Programs Unit. This is a part-time, fixed-term position (parental leave cover until end of July 2027) based in Melbourne, Australia.
Working within a collaborative team, this role is responsible for leading the administration and customer service functions that support emergency medicine trainees throughout their entire journey, from selection into training through to Fellowship. The Coordinator plays a pivotal role in maintaining the integrity of trainee data, coordinating critical assessment and progression processes, and providing expert advice to a diverse range of stakeholders including senior clinicians, trainees, and committee members.
Paired with relevant experience in a training, education, or regulatory/compliance environment, our ideal candidate will have:
Proven ability to lead, motivate, and develop a high-performing administrative team, including performance management and professional development.
Strong organisational skills with the ability to coordinate complex workflows, manage competing priorities, and maintain a high standard of accuracy and attention to detail.
Well-developed stakeholder engagement and communication skills, with experience preparing policies, reports, and other professional communications.
Strong data analysis skills with intermediate to advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
A continuous improvement mindset, with demonstrated experience developing and enhancing administrative systems and processes.
